work today involves killing black ants running around my desk, day dreaming, and planning what to cook afterwards. Yup, I'm totally out of this office environment.

Everybody else is on leave @ not @ their workstations. Thank God, one colleague said hi and said" Isn't it nice not having too much work?".. Iye? Well, management work will be pending if somehow, somebody is absent. That's how important it tis (saja nk mengkabor betapa hebatnya kerja tersebut!)
This morning, breakfast was short but very "informative". Friends I observed, who shared the same fate are totally b_ _ _ _ es now. A senior has been "lasered" just for asking "Where hv u been?", It's been a long time since I saw you"... hahahhaha.. funny3 question... and zrap2..kene laser trus.
Phones are ringing.. lagi dan lagi.. I am so not practicsing the right phone etiquette. Angkat bfore the 3/4th ring..hihi

Nearly a Month!

It's been nearly a month. But I still am not used to this whole new condition. We're trying our bests and all that comes out seems fake. However, we know now why things got delayed (and as we suspected the parties in charge, didn't take charge to speed things up!) But..what good does it do? Kalau kita ni superior lain laa..

Each and everyone of us that has gone thru this so called "transition" (yuckphtui!) I noticed has become mean"er", as they tend to "laser" anybody who messes with them. Even the good ones dah changed?hihi

btw, aku untuk selama tahun ni dh amek MC. Sbb selama ni.. takde award pun utk org yg tak pnah MC. Might as well gune.

hari-hari

Everyday nowadays I'm waiting for the time to exit... and that's it. I think that I contributed much-much lesser day by day. I wasted energy sana sini. Can a doctor/saviour come mend me?

The Damage Has Been Done!

Best kan kata2 ni? This is what my friend said..dia dah form ayat ni dlm kepala dia, and just waiting for certain people to utter something.. and, barulah akan diberikan ucapan itu.

These couple of days..byk plak lawak2 ce dan tak bijak sungguh yang I heard or maybe have to hear..smpai bila I don't know. Orang2 yg membuat lawak ini, sepatutnya bijak, tp sekarang aku dah cop... tak langsong!!!!!

Aku sedang mengontrol mulut ni..tp kekadang takleh control gak kan? Certain friends yg cam angel je pertuturannye and I've never heard of her saying despicable words uttered "bongok and bodoh and bongok" a few times.. ish2...Tak baik ma! oopss. hahahahha. Sorry, despicable me...

Malas

I am lazy to do all these things:

1. Cooking and storing food for raya (am going to bring it to my sis's hse later)
2. Clearing my workstation as it stored 6 years of work.. Malas, malas btul!
3. Moving my stuff from the workstation to : - rumah sewa ke? (pdhal dh nk pindah),
: - mum's house ke? (tak muat lgsung)
where should I chuck these stuff?
4. Come to work on Tuesday.. and smile..

Devastated

To potray how devastated I am is like this:
1- aku bwk bekal twister (yg org len kata best, siap ada avokado spread lagi) tapi tak mkn pun..
ada 3 gulung
2- My nephew asked me, whether it's him who made me sad.. (agaknya sbb byk sgt gue
mengucap, tak daya nk response pd pe'el masing2!)
3- I was teary bila tgk upin and ipin and k rose tersedih time opah nk g umrah...huwaaa!!
4- I was thinking, sempat tak cari somebody who's willing to support me legally? hahaha..
mangkuk tul imagination!
Dengan ini, I think that I ought to train my mind to be positive (surely payah gile!), and start looking for...

Perjumpaan

Dgr mcm serius kan bila kata ada Perjumpaan. It always involves some important issues, but I always associate it with something negative. Maybe it's because of these things:

1. Bila ada perjumpaan - dulu time skolah kt hostel, everytime perjumpaan was held; the upper
formers akan scold us, told us whom they didn't like (penting ke?), and instruct us about the
actions (selalunya denda/ regulations) yg akan kami terpaksa ambil.
2. Bila ada perjumpaan, the warden would scold us, (antara sebab: tak p solat maghrib jemaah)
sbb mandi lama lepas balik bersukan. Yg ni best.. tgh berkemban and bersabun kene jerit,
korang ada??(hihihi.. wah.. blagak gaya bahasa budak skrg.)
3. Bila ada perjumpaan - meeting bilik ke, meeting rumah ke.. there were always unresolved
issues. And almost most of the time.. akan ada ayor mata mengalir.. (hish..mak tak suke)
4. Bila ada perjumpaan at school (applied to sekolah menengah) I remembered, the "cane".
Ha ah.. kene rotan. Benci kan?

That's why I'd rather meet and greet and just say wht u want..huuuu

The Help

Salam y'all.. (ewah..y'all.. ala2 southern gituh)

Last Saturday I watched The Help (kualiti dvd tak mmuaskan) but due to nk tgk sgt..aku bedal je tgk. It was ok. I've heard of this story yg made with low budget but is a hit with the viewers.Apa kelas maid ko pakai tandas yg sama?

It's a story about the help (sumenye org kulit hitam) for white folks in the 60's. Time tu smuanye dibahagi. Even if you go to cinemas.. coloured people masuk tangga lain..omputih tangga lain. The movie was fun. Ada parts yg keji, ada yg mcm sedih sikit. It is advisable to those yg nk tgk, sila cari copy yg ok, bersubtitle English yg betul.. (sbb slang southern ni pyh nk phm skit, I think gtu).

Bagus jugak tgk movie2 ni time tgh stress2/bengang2/confuse2 ni.. Btw, Suki: sila tgk ye..

Tak Buat Dah..

Salam.. A couple weeks ago I agreed to a request for henna drawing (lukis inai) for a relative. She's getting married. A few days after the deal, I remembered that henna drawing is similar to tattooing. As much as I like watching Miami Ink, mende ni tak bleh buat. I used to do it for a few brides to be. It's something I considered mcm bakat yg ada sikit laa... sikit je.. Ni antara gmbar yg penah di'snap'. Selalunya.. pnuh lagi tangan mangsa2 tersebut... Wani, Ma, E-id.. a few other friends even makcik cleaner penah balik dgn tangan yg dh berconteng. Seronok.. Tapi bye2 je la.

Okay, Job as a "possible" henna artist = X.
Skrg.. try tgk2... bleh ke jd pjual temosa (tanpa inti kelapa ok?) and bubur lambuk..

Menyampah

I got sick of having this feeling. Got sick of listening and seeing people with information trying to tell some bits and pieces of information yet, kdg2, taknak bgtau. Diam je boleh tak? It's really annoying. Showing off like you are important compared to others, but still didn't realize the actions shown is inappropriate.

Sheesh..just keep it to yourself! Too much to ask ke?

Jiran

Salam. Alang2 Suki mentioned about jiran2 dia.. I also wanted to join the bandwagon. Since I'm staying at 2 places, adalah a few "pe'el" jiran2 nih yg bisa mengguris perasaan. At my rumah sewa, there are certain jiran who will ask you to move your car if it's parked outside his house (bukan menghalan laluan pun!). He will purposely move his car to park where your car parked earlier dan dia bukannya ada 2 keta pun. Garage dia kosong je.

There are jiran yg menge"park" diluar rumah anda (hampir ke pintu pgr) although they know there are 3 cars will be parked there. This will make it difficult to adjust parking and to adjust to get the car out of the garage.

Most of the time, we get back from work, all kinds of sampah ada di rumah (already mentioned dulu I think). Memandangkan we don't have the trash can cover, people lalu lalang/kids/neighbours' kids/neighbours will freely throw their rubbish inside our trash. And it will be my duty to tonggengkan all the rubbish inside a plastic bag and buangkan smula. (bagus aku ni)

Yg suka membakar (arsonist?) akan freely bakar sampah tanpa mengira baju jiran jemiran lain yg belum diangkat. Yg best sikit dia akan bakar selain dr. bhn2 semulajadi.. cth: polisterine (this will result in habuk2 halus, yg ala2 asap.. tp kita nmpk partikel tu lalu lambat2 dpn umah kita) disertai dgn bau yg mak aii.. ya ampunkanla dosa jiran aku ni. Hazardous tul utk org lain. Blum kira kucing dia yg berak kt umah kita, kucing dia yg mati di rumah kita (atas sbb2 yg tak diketahui) and again, I've already "uruskan" dead cats ni about 3 times. Lagi 1, kucing dia yg beranak kt dlm umah kita..(mcm takleh bukak pintu pulak).

One time, during Hari Raya.. there was this stench bapak la ho liau.. A bangkai like smell. Puas we toured around the house. On that raya.. I even warned my friend not to come (due to the unpleasant smell). Malu siihhh.. But she came anyway.. and her daughter siap nk muntah bila angin membawa bau tu. Then, we notices the smell came from the ikan kering yg djemur atas atap rumah dia. How come? I used to have ikan kering dried outside my house dulu2, tp it does'nt smell like that... bwek.. gile pnye aromaterapi.

Ok la.. stop menceceh la.. Tgh pk2, nk wat pilihan..

FAULT BEING SINGULAR

Salam.. Memandangkan my friend Suki has written about what people have said to those still being single, I suddenly feel the urge to write something that has been said to us (kengkawan in the same subset).

Ada satu ketika when I did some gotong royong in the hot sun with friends (proses pemindahan ke tmpt kerja bru).. ada one guy friend said.. "Ksian, panas dan itam la awak orang nnti". I replied "takpe, dh biasa". Tak semena-mena one married Pempuan friend said, "eh, kita takpe, dah kawin, orang yang bujang la kesian..gelap kang, turun plak saham. (owh..kita wat ksimpulan, married ones tak main saham).

Ada plak statement dari org yg sama ni..time berbual2, waiting for a presentation.
Bachelor 1: Aku ingat susah la nk smbung PhD ni.. Tak daya rasanya.
Married Pmpuan: Ho yelah.. Aku rasa, kalau ko sambung, tak kawin2 la ko rasanya..

cth: Awak takpelah.. boleh la pegi (wat keje2 luar/kursus etc).. Takdok anak kecik. (huh! pdhal ramai lagi org beranak pinak p jugak, terkejor2 pun p jugak..) owh..lupa..I have no social life kan?

cth: Alah, sukan ni pun awak je la main. Kita2 ni dh jadi mak orang (pdhal ramai je mak2 orang yg bersokan sama) Kesimpulan= org bujang memang takde pnyakit/halangan dlm bersukan. Bersyukur je lah.

Agak pelik sbb conclusion yg dibuat ialah this particular people akan memusingkan apa2 jua situation to marriage, being married and anything related to being unmarried. I am so thankful I befriended those yang tak akan memutar2 pada hal yg sama ni sahaja, although they are married. It's not the only thing we think of after all..

MENU HARI RAYA

Salam.. though AidilFitri dh lama berlalu.. I just wanted to share our Hari Raya menus.
Since this raya we've (mum and me) decided not to raya sgt...we just prepared Kopitiam's Menu. Seriously... everybody else blk kg mertua.. so.. we wanted to rest2 a bit..

These were the menus: Teh O, Kopi O (airbatu beli 3 kampit..langsung tak guna... malas nk amek dr freezer)

Roti putih and sardin and homemade pandan kaya. Haa.. seriously

Malas la nk fikir2 dh, apa org akan fikir kalau hidang this and that. Kali ni fikir..apa yang akan menyenangkan kita. Hasilnya.. on the 1st raya.. 4 buku roti abis. Kopi O dibuat berulang kali..(dlm jag2 yg besar). Bagus..tak payah nk hangat2 lauk.

p/s: teringat dulu... ada yg mengata "tak buat dek org, roti canai berlauk time raya". Yg pasti..suka ati kita la kan...rumah kita..

Kenalah bersabor

I think that all I've written so far was frustration. Maybe it's time to write on how berlapang dada and penyabarnya kami:

- Last night there was a test. It was a mutual decision that it's going to start at 8 p.m. hoping, dictation will be read at 8:15. Tetapi, at 8:20 p.m. the class is half full? (kunun2 looking at things positively) and the present students called those still missing. I heard: "hah? ko ktne?..mi celup?" "klas kul 8 laa.. bkn 8.30".. BTW, kelas hapa? TEST lah!
- I tried to sabar pusing2 kuar kls.. tak ckp pape
- 8:40: ada la mai.. snyum2, lenggang lengguk.. Sabor..
-10:35: Knp nak print nama file lain? tak sabor.. Arahan jelas terang tak yah bersuluh dh.. Sound je

Today:
2:30- Kanak2 bersepah lagi... tak masuk kls.. well, test starts at 2:45 anyway
2:45- Miss, sorang g oral test.. takpelah
3:15- Miss, yg sorang blk kg.. emergency. (i belieb NOT!)

Time dlm kelas, baca dictation, I was aiming for this student.. Trying to make sure she won't fell asleep. I kept knocking her desktop partition.. and ok la... she didn't doze off. Tp.. kejap lagi, when I moved to her side, trying to keep a look on others.. molek aku toleh je..TDO!.. aduuuu.. pls la girl.. jgn shuijiao! Then, I remembered I used to sit in front of this particular law class, hoping that I won't fell asleep while taking notes.. Too bad. But today... it's different. Test tuu.. Nak geget je budak nih!

Salam.. it's Friday. The day I presented the article reviews. I did just that.. with limited audience. Takpe2. Lagi syukur sbb I don't have to face any additional questions from them. I did last minute work (dapat sebulan dulu), tp was still debating (dgn diri sdiri) on the topic. Takut tak sesuai.. last2, belasah je la.. Effect on Instant Messaging pd Student's Writing Abilities.

Tak tersempat and takut silap kalau nk translate article English.. blasah je la, ckp cmpur2. Yang penting, what suits me atau dgn kata lain.. apa yang sempat je laa. The audience were nice..kikiki.. I was afraid of the questions given by the future PHD holders.. Mak tak suka nk jwb, tak retih...
Tp he was just giving his opinion..well, that, I can take. Thanks to friends yg tak lokek opinion.. Kalaula audience terpikir apa yg ahli lorong I boleh komen... I'm dead meat!

Hik hik..suka.. rasa something has been lift off me! Yeay.. ok.. projek seterusnya.. buat balik keje2 tbengkalai sbb susah ati ke mende nih.

Cabaran Sem Ni

Salam. Cabaran bulan Ramadhan pada sem ni, bukan terletak pada menahan diri dari lapar, dahaga semata, tp cabaran kami lebih pada perasaan yang bercampur baur, sedih, kesal dan terkadang terpaksa menahan marah.. Yang terkadang tu, dari kadang2 dah jd acapkali.

This sem, it looks like the roles that we play has been updated, the scope of responsibilities widened and the challenges Subhanallah.. Keadaan2 yg never before tjumpa, tidak lagi pelik to us.

Ranges of responsibilities such as Ceti : Collecting payment for certain fees/activities is ongoing. Not forgetting collecting payment of books. (buku sem 3, sem 5 tak abis byr).
Data Administrator: recording not only marks, but students details, pics, any info for superiors-stdnts' and ex-students whereabouts, landed jobs, field they pursue...blah blah. Counsellor: Being a place for them to tell their problems (most problems created by themselves);"my friends badmouthing me", "I have trouble waking up early", etc2.. owh..lupa.. keadaan2 yg pelik tu, includes : kanak2 yg taknk contact mums and dads.. went missing , till parents got sick(literally sick ok?).. kita je yg naik sick of mereka yg buat hal nih, yg tipu kow2, tahap dewa-dewi punya tipu, financial probs, sakit yg lethal lah..etc2
Psychologist/Counsellor: Tempat mums and dads mengadu their problems.. etc2.

I am not complaining (pdhal sounds like it, though), but bila tgk2 balik kesah ceritera mereka2 ni.. maybe they have nothing else to do. I mean, look at the scenario of friends badmouthing their own best friends. They ain't have nothing better to do right? They don't have to think about financial probs, aiming to pass etc. Because everything is easy now. Chance to further studies are right in front of them, it's only a matter of nk taknak je. Instead of having fake financial problems, they ought to go to a personal financial mgt course. There are those who work to pay for their studies, but failed to inform us. Remarks such as :tu lah, knp Miss tak tanya, kenapa Miss tak tau?" akan terdengar. Hmm...It helps us to help them if we know their real situation. Sure, mmg sgt btul. Tp, nk mmbetulkan smua keadaan tu tak sllunya mudah. Dan tak selalunya masa pembtulan dilakukan, kita akan "berhemah"..

Break-Fast? Nope.. Pour-Fast

Mana ada term tuang pose dlm english kan? Anggap je la "pour-fast" atau poornye disbbkan not fasting. Tadi in class, bau rokok. Positive thoughts.. mybe org lain smoking, the smell lekat kt bju budak ni.. Good thoughts..good thoughts.. The same incident happened years back.. tp tak sangka ada re-run pulop....

Translation

I used to dream of being a translator. Ikut la nk translate apa. Then, I imagined jd voice over certain cartoons (due to byk sgt suara2 yg sama jd watak yg dialihbahasa). Doraemon tu, suara yg amat memenatkan nk dgr, and I always wonder, smpai bila pmpuan ni nk bwk watak ni lagi??

Okeh, however, I wasn't planning on writing about being a "voice over" but, I wanted to display some of the ridiculous words that has been translated..loosely. Suka ati je nk translate jd apa... Kesian rasa bila tgk tv. Antaranya: Joystick - kayu ria (alat digunakan while playing computer games), collectibles - kolektibel (barang2 yg dikumpul krn minat).. yg ni tak pnah tau pun dh dieja jadi Melayu.

There are other words that I think quite ridiculously translated in dialogues:

dlm cerita Bones " the injury was due to blow to the head" jadi "kecederaan adalah akibat "letupan" di kepala. Ada ka??? footage is now futej, belanjawan is now "bajet" je, dan picnic is no longer perkelahan, but rather "piknik".

I am no language expert, but seeing the words loosely translated makes me menyampah. Masih ingat lagi translation dari ayat "he is pathetic"= "dia cacing kerawit tak gune".. sedih2

One of My Neighbour

Selamat Bpuasa on this Ramadhan al Kareem..

Kelmarin (the day before yesterday), my mum took a neighbour (layak dipanggil moyang/nenek) to a Homeopathy Clinic. She asked mak to bring her there, as she said her son wasn't wiling to take her. Kita pun wonder.. kenapa ye? As far as we know, the sons and daughters of this nenek (I called her Dadima dlm hati) was so caring towards their mother.

Ok lah..mak bawak..then when the doctor advises my neighbour to tell her son, to bring her for blood test, she said "uh..malah nok bbhase dgn anok mokcik". (Malas nk bgtau kt anak dia). The doctor asked "knapa makcik?". Dadima said " aritu mokcik kabor ke dia mokcik nk gi bomopati, dia maroh". Dia kata, tok payoh la gi tmpt2 gitu".. muahahhaah.. My mum wanted to laugh..tp diam je la. The doctor said "uhhhh..patutla anok makcik marah.. sy bkn to bomoh.. sy doktor mcm klinik lain jugok". Pstu the Dadima kept saying bomohpati walau dibtulkan tuan doktor berkali2. hihihi. I don't think the son will be angry anymore, bila tgk surat klinik dari tmpat Doktor Bomohpati tu.

MEINE AUTO, HEUTE

My car today made a scene. Sesubuh2 hari, Ida was going out.. and I've decided to fill in the tank, bubuh angin trus. Start2, tak idup, myk turun trus.. Pelik..
So, we went to isi myk dlm tong..(dlm ati, bateri prob kot). Delaying e-id's trip, went back, curah petrol dlm tangki, try to start it up.. but can't. Dang!!!!!
Called K Ja, borrowed her jumper (bukan monkey suit tuh), jump start the car.. still stalled. Pushed the car, mujur manual. Started to berpeluh jantan, betina, gajah rimau belaka ada... and borrowed LInda's car (mujur manual jgk). Linda, ko bagi aku pnjam kan? kan? alah.. aku dh terpinjam pownnnn.

It's Back!

After following Vampire Diaries last year, semoleknya I watch it too this year. The usual vampire storyline, with hot chicks and hen and the sem guys..



Last year, the episode end with a few incidents such as:
- Mystic Falls (the kampung of the vamps and rkyat jelata) ada pesta apa tah..Founding Fathers.. ha, gitu la lbh krg
- in the fiesta, the sheriff and JKK kg. cuba nk gune a device that will immobilize semua vamps.. (ala2 wisel anjing tu laa)
- ttp malangnya, the device also paralyzed the Mayor.. and anak dia yg sdg memandu.
(ada anak dara sheriff dlm tu..eh, silap..anak pmpuan sheriff dlm tu)-eksiden, tp anak mayor tu dari cedera, elok2 je pulih..(vamp kah dia?)
- Mayor kene kurung jgk.. sama2 dgn bf, eh, dgn damon.. tp the vamp was rescued by bonnie (bomoh tujuh keturun)
- Ending scene: Damon kissed Katherine (sbb dia ingat tu Elena), Katherine stabbed Elena's dad,
I was frustrated sbb kene tgu plak Season 2.

Well, well, well... Congratulations to the winner of Showdown 2011. As most of us who watched or a fan, mmg dh jangka the ECX crew will win. However, I've expected the finals to be great.. and not so-so. It looks like their weekly battle was better. Maybe I expected too much.. tp so do org2 lain. Excitement hanya sampai ke tekak je.. tp a few performance, sampai ke pinggang je. Siap ada tlondeh sluar lagi. (tak sngaja, no intention pun nk wat gitu)

Anyways.. what's with the camera crew? and the props guys too? Asap melampau2, lighting pun mcm kejih.. How can people watch? Okeh.. Tu je nk conteng. Malas ubuh gambor..sbb takde.

Earlier this year we had aged action stars coming together in The Expendables. Now here’s yet another film in which the cast is made up of, erm, somewhat senior citizens. But surprisingly, Red is quite fun despite (or is it because of?) the age factor.

There’s Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren playing retired agents who are forced back into action – and these characters wield awesome weaponry and blow up people right on target. Yes, Helen Mirren, the Oscar-winner!

In one of the most surreal scenes, the actress – wearing a white dress (looking like the royalty that she is) – lets loose hundreds of bullets from this massive machine gun like it’s the most natural thing for her.

Who would’ve thought she’d be at ease playing a government agent who remains extremely dangerous even though she’s retired?

If Mirren is watchable, Malkovich is pretty funny playing a paranoid man with a penchant for military camouflage. He may be a bit over-the-top, but the way Malkovich delivers the lines in that clear, sane voice only magnifies the fact that his character is a tad crazy.

There are no surprises where Willis is concerned, making the most of his character’s solitude man act.

Red also features Mary Louise Parker, as a bored woman who gets involved with these retired agents by chance.

While her role is obvious – as the person who clues the audience in on who’s who and what’s what – Parker must be credited for giving the role a touch of freshness. Similarly, Karl Urban is effective in his role.

While the cast is great, the film is far from perfect: there are plenty of moments when the plot and character development are skating on dangerously thin ice.

The goings-on will have us going “seriously?” a couple of times, made worse with an utterly boring villain.

The script is mediocre, featuring an awful “Grandpa” running joke. But when a film has Mirren playing against type and features Ernest Borgnine it’s definitely worth a watch. Getting soft in the old age maybe is not so bad. – Mumtaj Begum

When we watched this show.. mulut kami akan nyanyi2.. Lagu tema dia berbunyi "harol llyod.. param param, param param"..hihi..param tu aku je yg ubuh.. sbb tak tau apa nk put as music. Time ni ntah param lahir dh ke belum..

This year I realized youngsters nowadays terlampau mudah sgt give up. We got so frustrated with those who decided to quit when they failed certain subjects. No guts ke? When asked, how do your parents react when they heard your decisions? Mmg parents mereka shocked. Tak pnah mengandaikan anak2 akan bhenti..

Jawapan diorang, tak mampu belajar (bukan financial burden). Macamana nk mampu kalau they are missing from their class? Macamana nk mampu kalau in each class, melepek, meng"tension"kan diri sendiri dgn duduk diam, and when it's almost over, bersedia menerkam utk bersalam & bangun keluar. Macamana nak mampu, if it's us who make calls asking them to come attend their tests, send their assessment. Macamana nak mampu kalau parents pun tanya, "anak saya dtg kelas tak? takut dia tak bangun tido".. ada ke? Memang ada.. Macamana nak mampu if all the "mak-mak angkut ni" (ganti pangkat mak angkat), berbuih mulut (hrp dijauhkan dari sawan), pesan and pesan, and kdg2 marah/tegur and sometimes cubit... tp takde perubahan. Not all of us have the skills to counsel, but at least we try. They should do the same.

Beberapa minggu lps, on Friday, time dh punched out, Id called me and asked me to come take a look at her tyres (kereta pnye tayar)..

Yup, it was punctured and flat. Tayar belakang..susah gak.. Tp syukur la, bukan tengah jalan. So, these two guys, Abg Din from Exam Unit and En. Murdin, Lecturer ke Codi? MLT telah bersusah payah, panas and basah (sbb ujan renyai2 tgh panas) menolong kami..

It's not like that both of us (ida and me) tak reti tukor tayar. The thing is.. ketat nk mamfuss nk pulas bolts and nuts tu.. Guna kaki pun tak berdegih.. Guna berat diri sdiri pun tak gerak..(in a way, kami ni mmg "lampung"!) Jadi these guys are the ones meminjamkan kederat mereka (sbb ida kata pinjam kederat) utk tukar tayar. Sebaik tukar tayar, we headed for the tyre shop. Did some alignment and balancing.. bla bla, tmpal tayar.. ok..syukur..dah siap.

HOWEVER, the way the mechanics bwk keta2 di servis tu mmg mcm gila. Berdesup, ilang dari pandangan.. even perjalanannya just to park outside the workshop. To make the evening more interesting, this one fella reversed the car yg siap dgn cara terhandal...and bumped bumper blkg kat tayar yg bersidai. Inilah kesannya kalau mangkuk hayun/mangkuk tingkat atau lebih tepat "sio" yg bwk..

Tak pasal2 kan? kan? Sgt hampas kelapa hangit.. Pe lagi..diaorg arh bayor.. Tmpal tyr and balancing.. FOC la kan? Dh kaputtkan keta worang.. Terrer kan

Showdown

YES.. being young (ye, masih, young at heart), I do watch Showdown. Out of all the current reality shows, this one I can telan. The interest in this particular dance show may be caused the desire (atau lebih kpd imagination) to move swiftly sana sini.

Tonight, 2 groups that should be booted out still ada dlm kumpulan 2011 ni. I did'nt like it sbb on the battle round, they gaduh'ed. To those who did not watch Showdown, the show goes like this:

1) There are a few groups that will perform their dance routine based on themes. Macam thn lepas, ada theme Michael Jackson, self defence, etc.

2) The groups will perform their own choreographed routine and try to "wow" the judges and crowd. It's important for groups not to look stupid or bersepah time dancing.

3) Judges will make comments (termasuk yg di rumah, ehem, ehem and predictions too!). Viewers will then vote (bukan aku pun ni) based on talents and showmanship (walaupun blambak yg based on faktor2 lain)

4) The bottom 4 groups will be up for battle round. Cam ni hah..

Group ni thn lps pnye.. they always jd dancers for celebrity2.. funny how they looked here.. However, diorg ni kira pro gak laa..

Time battle, the groups akan btanding sesama sdiri, and the group least menyerlah akan terkeluar. I just like watching them because of their creativity in planning the moves and discipline in making the moves sharp. Those yg kalah will cross their group names on the board. I've read somewhere before, that street dancers ni ritualnya akan bakar baju group yg kalah battle. Ini aku tak berapa gemor.. Dah pnat2 wat baju, nk bakor pehalnye ye? Ritual manaa la tu.. Tp dlm ni, takde la bakor2 ni.. kita serahkan sahaja tugasan ni pada Usop Wilcha.. kan?

Hadiah Birthday!

Salam.. Isnin baru ni, we had "high-tea" at the office (kafe je sbnrnya).. But before that, there are some present giving session. This is especially to those who just got married or just welcome new addition to their family till this April. So, sebelum sesi bagi hadiah kat mereka yg baru kawin and dpt anak, there are slide show session showing the faces of those who celebrated their birthdays till April.

I admit yesterday, I lied to the person who asked for donations. Firstly dia tegur nk jual cd, utk rumah anak2 yatim..and the rest of the story u know. I told him it's ok (dgn harapan, silalah berlalu, sy mmg tidak mahu mmbeli pape). Lps tu, he said, taknk beli pun takpe, bleh derma. Again I said, takpe la, smbil geleng2. I know it's for good cause, tp hati tak rasa nk buat gitu. Lepas tu, again he sounded like he was urging me to donate, and I started to feel quite rimas. I said, I can't today, right now, and he bluntly asked.. "why?". Kene ke aku bagi reason? Kalau la kita bagi anything kat org dgn tak ikhlas, bdosa tak? I know dosa sbb nk marah kt org tu, tp what about causing people to get angry. I pun bluntly said, Sy tak bawak beg, dlm beg kain ni ada kunci, pen2 dsbgnya.. And he asked me, where I worked.. Ada kaitan? ada? ada?

Org2 yg sometimes mcm dh force kita to donate tu, tau tak mybe baru sebntar tadi ada org lain mintak donation. Kalau kita pusing satu shopping complex tu, mungkin ada 2-3 org yg mintak donation. Pnat la kita cmtu. I prefer to go to the boxes yg mmg dh sedia utk org donate. Perasan tak? dlm masjid, surau or even dekat kaunter time kita byr mkn. Kita bleh derma pada sesiapa yg susah. At my workplace, there are frequent visits from students yg nk wat kutipan derma, for any other purposes. Buat rumah la, derma kat org susah etc.
Sekarang, hati saya yg susah.. sbb sy dengan sukacitanya tipu, tak bwk purse.. daaah dose..

Zombie Horror

Last week I went to the Pasar Malam and bought some things to eat. One kuih was a total failure, and I vowed not to buy from that seller again. And I think it's time for me to learn how to make it on my own. Walau bagaimanapun, a friend asked to buy her fried kuay teaw and that took some time to get. So, there Id and me stood waiting, and waiting, and waiting some more and we noticed this one boy (teenager I presumed) standing next to us.

I wonder, and I could see from the corner of my eyes, he was different. I wondered why. As soon as I turned to look, I looked away immediately. He was wearing this weird zombie contact lenses which does nothing to complement him. If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's this one!

Aku ingat ke cacat tak nampak ke apa dia ni. We didn't even want to look at him because it's so weird and yucky. Tambahan plak, kulit org Melayu, mmg takleh masuk. This kinds of lenses will do NO justice to anybody. Unless if you're planning to play a part of a zombie. Why the hell did he wanted to buy charkuayteaw for? Don't zombie eat humans? Eeww

Baru Sebentar Tadi

Salam, baru sebentar tadi I finished watching the 3rd Pirates of the Carribean..

• I watched 1 and 2 the previous weeks due to lack of understanding of the jalan cerita and the rationales of setiap action taken by Capt. Jack Sparrow, Barbossa, Tia Dalma (a.k.a. Calypso), Will Turner (ahaks) and the pempuan.. Elizabeth.
• I know now, that the reason why Jack Sparrow sibuk nk influenced jap2 Elizabeth, jap2 Will ikut dia is that, he no longer know what he wants. The compass only shows what the holder really wants, and in his hand, the compass went cuckoo sbb ada masanya Jack mcm nk kt pmpuan kurus tuh
• Dlm 3rd movie, Jack was brought back to life (atau sebnarnya rescued dr kurungan Gobok Davy Jones=Davy Jones Locker) sbb all the pirates nk revive Calypso. Depa nk pmpuan ni tumpaskan Mr. Jones (sepupu squidward) and in order to do that, msti sume 9 pirates yg glamer (tmasuk Jack le) kene ada.
• Tu je yg penting kot.. owh, satu lagi, I don't understand how they bet masa scene dlm kapal Davy Jones. Not that I wanted to judi kan, tp dah ulang byk kali, pun tak tau jugak.
  
• Hmm.. waiting for the 4th, harap2 dia takla se'dragging' mcm yg ke3.

Time tgk yg 1st dulu, time blajar, unplanned, went with Id. Naik bas 222 ke? gitu la ke KL from S Alam. In the bus, we stood (tak dpt tmpt duduk eh) for 45 mins lbh krg. Tgk papan iklan dgn muka Orlando Bloom and Depp, trus je straight carik wayang. Kadang nmpk Depp mcm cik pok pun ada, tp we got used to it, dah mcm adorable..(aku kira hape kalau tak adorable pun, takde markah pun)..

The 2nd one tgk time mana eh? Time with friends too.. Ingat2 blk, so long la tak p movies.. 3 thn ke dh lbh? hmmm

Troublesome

Salam all.. today is quite tiring, but thanks to friends yg sudi menolong jaga tests and quiz, ok la sikit.

I think lately, I'm getting furious with various amount of crap that my friends and I have to deal with. Demotivated students=resulted in taking leaves this semester, missing students=dah carik.. but they wat kering je time bjumpa. No sense of remorse? yup.. pelik2, sbb quantity yg begini ramai btul skrg. Nak story? Esok lusa, tulat tubing je la.. but, however it looks like, I don't have the intention to be Viruddh Sastraboothi.. (ye ke? alah, that virus guy from 3 idiots). I don't want to be a person who forgets or ignore those budak2 yg takleh cope. But I think, in these recent situations, they weren't the ones yg takleh cope or nakal tak tntu psl. These are the "dried fruits", sbb suka buat kering kan?

Dulu we had students yg every week kene pi balai. Report kt balai due to certain case they're involved. Tp these boys are considered sweethearts. Nakal mmg nakal, tapi tak keji. They didn't cause trouble in class, if we tegur them of something, they don't even talk back, or act rude and they are the kamceng ones with most of us.

Kadang2 atau now2, selalu plak terpikir, maybe I'm not cut to be somebody who teaches or educates. Is it me who only think like this? tak rasanya.. these feelings will come bila stress and tension mai.. and it came, bila probs yg faced tu associated dgn students. Ntoh, kdg2 mnyampah gak.. Knapa la korang takleh blajar elok2, jgn wat mende2 tak gune, jgn menipu dah tu takde seni pulak menipu, and kenapa nk susahkan diri sdiri? Hmm.. ni agaknya ujian utk lebih sabor kot.. atau peringatan, for my future kids (IF sahaja) to not act like this or a reminder to me to find methods to handle these in the future? If so, am facing with trouble je gayanya..

It's Monday, Common Test week that is.. patut my paper starts next week, but atas perancangan yang teliti, it will be tomorrow.. Both papers. satu abis at 2, another starts at 2:30.. sgt teliti. Jadual keluar Jumaat ptg ye.. Sekian terima kasih.. Sekarang, I have students to update on the Tests.. Depa nk cek dkt notice board pun nothing to check.. tu laa.. perancangan yg "teliti".

It is common that women generally need mirror to get themselves ready for anything. This include putting on make-ups such as lipstick, bedok dan sebagainya. 60% of my time looking at the mirror is just to get eyelashes out of eyes. (yes, this is well known bila aku terkocoh2 mcari cermin).

However this post is not meant to discuss on the usage of mirrors. Just got back from the musolla, and there were like 3 women in front of the mirror, trying to get ready. One them I noticed, was already "siap" solat when I got in. Tp, when I finished, she was still there.. Standing tergayang2 dkt2 cermin buat apa tah. My friend who was trying to wear her tudung was blocked by 1 person, who did not intend to wear her tudung time tu, but standing there in front of the mirror, mengibar2kan rambutnya. Aku pang kang nak? Eh, dosa kan? Mmg sllu pun nk pelempang org. hihi

Hish la.. geram btul. What the heck do they need to stand blocking people kat mirror, setakat nk mengibar2kan rmbut rebondnya. Kurang asam, kurang sopan, kurang adab, eh pendek kata segala deficiency lah.. termasuklah bitamin deficiency.. sbb tu takleh pk dgn btul.

I didn't even have the chance to look kat cermin pun time tadi smpai skrg.. and that reminds me, I should, now.. huh.. senget.. (again.. well known)

EL? Macam tak Patut....

Now am doing the work... the homegrown work. Less passion and interest in this one.. maybe because it's out of our specialization atau mmg luar bidang kot.. My degree was a "rojak" one as our Course Coordinator once referred to. Mmg takde pengkhususan, but not many know about this. That is why me and Id was "blessed" with topics we're unfamiliar. Bukannya topik.. tp subject.

Terasa nk EL, tp kalau duk umah menggodey ke benda ni, mmg kira keje la jugok. Might as well gi keje. Tapi my eyes are too heavy. My head is spninning.. and we're going crazy laughing at certain ridiculous incidents and even songs... Ciri2 menambahkan berat badan dh bermula.. staying up late=nescafe.

kadang2, ada benda kita tak suka.. tp kita kene buat. Ada condition yg kita takleh masuk, tp kita kene buat "role-play" jugak. kdg2, bila ada masa kita ckp, org tak terima, kita wat kering je laa.. kadang2, kita rasa nk suka jugak, tgk apa kita ckp yg org tak terima n tak pcaya tu btul2 jadi.. kita dah ckp kannn..

Bukan Tak Nak..

The company that I work for will be having Sukan Kakitangan tak lama lagi but unfortunately, sukan2 yg akan dipertandingkan ialah sukan semukan yg serius, kene praktis, dan berpeluh secara ekstrim..

I AM NOT AGAINST these type of sports.. God knows I have tried byk dh type of games in school. The lists include:
1. Hockey
2. Bola Baling
3. Bola Jaring

4. Bola Tampar

5. Softball
6. Badminton
7. Lompat Jauh -walaupun kakiku tak sejauh mana
8. Lawn Ball - this one boleh dimaafkan.. ok la sikit.

I noticed that for each of these sports, mmg susah even to masuk pasukan simpanan. It is sad.. but I practised even the cikgu/coach utter curses such as "Bodo, tgkap la bola tu".. "otak mana?" and other curses yg lali dek telinga aku. Well, mind you, ini cikgu yg pnah memenangi anugerah guru cmerlang ke apa tah... Coach ni mmg bagus dan baik..cume ganas dari segi mulut je. Tak pnah pun aku berasa ati (bohong sunat kali ke 37)

The first 6 games that was listed involves catching or hitting balls.. kalau korang perasan. So, this means, apa2 aksi menangkap tidak begitu sinonim dgn aku. Tpi, lawn ball pnah la masuk ptandingan.. mungkin sbb ini adalah aksi melepaskan/menjatuhkan bola.. tak pyh nk tangkap2.

Nasi Kukus

I have only bought nasi kukus twice in my life. Once from a pasar malam (time ni mcm teruja tgk steaming pots), the second time from a restaurant nearby my workplace. The latter I think were so much better 3 years ago. I had the chance to share it with a friend who could'nt finish it by herself. It took 3 of us to mkn abis. Skrg ni, tgh mkn, tp bleh mnaip2 lagi..nmpk sgt tak brp concentrate on it kan? Makna ha... tok sedap la tuu..And I wonder why so many people queue to buy it? Now I am eating it with a friend and tgh mmbuat ulasan knpa people find it so special? Smpai skrg, no clue..

This afternoon in class, I was stunned to hear one student asked me " Miss, tak bwk roti kene kerit tikus arini". As if luka lama berdarah kembali, I stood in silence for a while.

The "roti" incident refers to last friday where as always, I brought some things to munch.. sharing2 lagi sronok. So, in the ziplock bag was roti john yg tlh dikoyakkan. Maklumla.. among member2, tak pyhla nk potong2. One student came, as I was opening the bag..and he said.."Miss bwk apa?, I ckp roti, He replied.. mcm kene kerit tikus je" I replied " aku tutup balik la.. baru ingat nk offer". Then another student came.. asking apa dia. The first boy mentioned that I brought something that looks like it has been eaten by a rat. I told the 2nd boy.. never mind.. I was thinking to offer anybody who came for something to munch, tp bila org dh ckp mcm tu.. takpela (bukan merajuk, tp tersinggung). The 2nd boy said, "Takpe Miss, bgi sy, and he took it". And said" sdp je" ha.. tu la, aku tau sdp sbb free...

Back to the 1st mentioned scene.. I said to the boy in class, "Ali (takde pun budak aku nama ali smpai arini, alejandro pun takdop), I won't say that kind of thing to anyone tau". He replied "tp, memang mcm kene gigit tkus kan Miss?" I said, " It doesn't matter how it looks, but if you offered me anything, I wouldn't dare say things like that".. It is so..... (nk ckp je kurang ajor), but I replaced it with.."inappropriate".. huh..nk marah gak.. tp sbb nk marah, tkuar english.. blagak dan riak gayanya.. and.. the 2nd boy who tasted the bread said "ish..Miss takdok bawok lg ke? Sedak tuu". haha.. nk gelak pun ada.. Tp wat kering je time tu.

I realize lama dh budak2 ni ada batch yg kurang asam, ada yg ok dan sangat ok. Tp it's a bit challenging when it comes to having to teach some manners to them. Btullah, compared to us, when we were young, when mums just stare and bulatkan mata kat kita, right there and then, kita akan terkedu and will stop doing what we were doing. Dah tau ada benda tak btul. But if it's kids nowadays.. kita bulat2 kan mata, or even if our eyes popped out, sumbat balik dlm soket pun, tak pasti they will realize their wrongs..

Moments

Certainly everybody has their embarrassing moments, and I sure have. A few, or many of it. One I can recall is sliding on the road on the way to the Business Faculty. Turun2 bas.. jalan masuk simpang and slide..... Ramai plak walking to class.. but they ignored me. Takpela.. I can get up on my own.. Tercalar bum takpe.. tercalar prasaan kott.. Ish2, I pitied myself, and quite pelik knp org wat dekk. I should've wiped my forehead smbil ckp "Nasib baik smpat duduk.. Pnat btul rasa".. huh..A few weeks later, a fellow student, a girl slipped at the same spot. I was behind her.. helped her to get up (which she wat derkk plak) and I asked her if she's ok.. (which she replied with a sprint forward). Eh, aku plak malu sbb tanya beria. Tak patut, tak patut.

Have you ever hi'ed (sudah hai) anybody but it ends up you're saying hi to some strangers. Indeed it was embarrassing. I accidentally (sbb my action was unexpected: by me!) hi to one school senior a few years ago. I was so confident she looked like that and still looks like that today! I went up to her, asking how she was doing.. and mentioned her name too. She just shrugged and replied, she wasn't that friend. I was so and still confident it was her, but I just said sorry and informed she looked like that particular friend. Budak bilik aku dulu tuuu... takkan aku tak knal. Anyways, when I got back, I suddenly remembered, my senior a.k.a. my ex roommate has a twin. And that person I helloed doesn't even bother nk mention nih???? Tak patutttt..

Tu tak kira lagi recent events, in the hall. The students were so busy shaking our hands, salam2 sbb dpt jumpa blk for pre-convos. I was sitting on one of those auto flip chairs cam dlm wayang tu. This one girl, asyek hulur2 tgn nk slm, and she was on the front row. She couldn't reach me, so I got up a bit, salam and sat.. on the floor. Aduh.. kalau la I could turn to liquid, I would liquify myself and seep through the carpet.

One incident happened while I was on a friend's ride to KL. He gave me a lift together with his guy friend and his mother. They talked about a well-known nasi lmk restaurant. His mother said our PM loves eating there, and tmpat ni glamer.. I decided to be talky and state my point of view, which include " sy rasa takde sdp mana pun tmpt tu", "glamer je lbih kot", and masak nasi lemak sdiri berganda sedapnya". Lo and behold, my friend made a pit stop there, and his friend said "Mak suka kan makan nasi lemak sini?". hukhuk.. me and my mouth.

During my studies, a lecturer treat us for hi-tea at a hotel. Only a few of us were invited and he booked the whole floor. Hebatnya perasaan time tu. I was with my friends... discussing how deliciou the pastries and buns were. So, being a very bjimat cermat persons, we also discussed on ways to smuggle the swirly pastry with raisins which we simply call "Madonna's Boobs". (Kalau sesapa la masih ingat madonna perform pakai lingerie yg mcm time tunnel). So, while we were secretly discussing, our hands is putting the roti inside my friends bag. Sambil2 tu, while performing 'smuggling' action, this dear friend said " eh, jangan la obvious sgt".. right then tgn waiter mencelah antara kami smbil tersenyum menuang air.. Byk jugak ketika2 yg bongek mcm ni.. ni baru sikit
