Berlengging

There are some definitions of "berlengging". Takde kene mengena dgn legging pun..cuba semak ejaan. Berlengging means not wearing baju, just seluar aje to some, but I just use this word to illustrate the "freedom" when you wear something less, atau tak lengkap berpakaian. Keadaan berlengging ini most frequently found lately in my house, after some individuals went for their circumcision. (betul ke eja?)

Berikut adalah gmbr mereka (my nephews) yg telah ditapis setelah berkhatan. Kelihatan statik di tmpt baring sbb takleh gerak byk. These are the time they really2 behave. Sbb sakit, sume main sekali, dan tak ada perbuatan mocking (menganjing) antara satu sama lain.heee.

Well, dia kata dia pakai ihram. Seen here, the youngest was forced to wear his towel appropriately.. sbb dia lah yg selalu "berlengging". No mercy pnye budak.

Fringe VS X-Files

I am quite bored right now. Well, let's doodle something here.

It's been almost 4 months or more since Fringe hit the local tv station. (don't you think this sentence mcm ayat dari mag? hehe). I've been following this tv series with a few misses and I think that it's quite interesting. Btullah producer/director citer ni ckp, ada mcm X-files sikit. Bukannya sikit, byk gak. Anyhow, it's quite addictive for me who likes this kind of tahyul stories. Mcm citer2 tahyul X-Files tu.

But the thing with Fringe is the character that draws viewers to watch is Dr. Walter Bishop. Dr. yg agak mereng, with peculiar behaviour and dialog2 yg selamba katak yg mampu dituturkan dengan bersahaja. We almost feel sorry for this guy disebabkan his mereng'ness but I find it quite adorable watching him in his character. His son act as his guardian after they released Dr. Bishop from the asylum. They both help Agent Dunham to solve unexplained mysteries.. sama kan mcm X-Files?

Tapi dlm X-Files, boss diorg usually doesn't agree with them.. In Fringe, boss yg berkilat nih, sllu ngat mintak tlg Olivia (nama panggilan kt rumah).

For X-Files, the characters they first highlighted was Dana Scully and Fox Mulder. Scully initially was assigned to debunk mendapa misteri dlm X-Files and report to her superiors and later on joined Mulder (knp la mak dia bgi nama Fox? tak ssuai) in their cruise to unveil the truth. But whatever they did, ade je government dia cover. Those who are not a real fan of X-Files juga akan menganggap citer ni tahyul semata. Sememangnya ye juga. However, since these two series has the same genre.. jadi, aku pun gemor je

Bila start aje ada tukang2 karut besides Scully and Skinner ni.. I stopped watching X-Files. Now that I have the collection of the DVDs, I find it hard to watch it back to back. Tgk slow2, time takde citer, then it'll be ok. How I wish I could light up their set. Trend citer ni la kot..Gloomy je.

Cite Tamil

I watch Tamil movies. Whether it's Malayalam, Telugu or any pilihan bahasa yang lain tidak dapat dipastikan. However, I am not an avid fan who waits for it every Saturday or Sunday (wah, tau gak) each week.

No doubt Tamil movies are similar to Hindi movies, but, if you ignore these parts eg: rolling down the hills, flowery2 and dancing-dancing and "naan unai kaadal.. etc:, some stories might be worth watching.

I remembered, pada suatu waktu dahulu, on one Deepavali, a few years back, my housemates and I watched this movie starring Vijay and Simran. I recognized only Simran at that time as she is pretty. Tajuk cerita: Thullatha Maanamum Thullum. Huh, therbelit lidah.. How do I know the title? Berbekalkan nama Simran, i googled. Cari saja sinopsis cerita that involved

i) a blind girl

ii) a kidney for sale
iii) donated corneas
iv) a bus full of muda-mudi passengers
tada!! dapatlah sebuah cerita Tamil box office yang telah meletupkan nama Vijay (anak siapa tak tau) dengan emphasis on his thick jambul. Some scenes involved bus passengers who sing and clap synchronizedly (bila berlatih tak diketahui) to the song "Innisai Paadivarum". Try look it up. A song that haunts me for years. Kenapa la.

To me, the story was okay. Sekiranya ada parts yang tak hingin ditonton, kita buatlah aktiviti2 lain contohnya buat air, minum air @ pergi ke bilik air. We watched that movie dengan penuh perasaan.. perasaan yang lebih bermakna dari menonton Sembilu..hmmm.

Rumah

Salam..
These days the price of houses sold everywhere is quite ridiculous. I was thinking that even if I am able to finally buy a house, the loan would be like forever. In the news recently focused on the issue of extremely high house prices. Especially those living in the area around KL and such, the price might start from RM200,000 and up.

A relative went for house hunting recently aiming for houses priced starting from RM100,00. Sengaja la dia melihat2 area KL and Puncak Alam yang jauh jenat tuh.. Ejen yang bertanggungjawab membawa ke rumah2 terbabit terus explain yg. good houses available starts from the range of RM400k ke atas. Memandangkan they are just looking for place to stay after retirement, baiklah tak payah.

My friends bought a condo for nearly half a million. gila kan? jejak tanah time nk parking je kot.. and keluar masuk keta. No can't do for me lah. Sometimes I wonder, why didn't I buy a house earlier? Maybe at that time is doesn't seem necessary. Therefore, I just told Mak, "wa tumpang umah mak ye". PTPTN pun blum langsai.hehe. Up till now.. consider myself "homeless".

Pinjam

Recently, I seldom open or do antyhing on my FB account. It wasn't that interesting, so I just open it whenever I feel like it, or when I'm so darn bored. There was this person who often post things showing his/her feeling @ activity yg seronok and not at all seems in difficulties. I remembered, once this person asked me for help to lend some pitih, although not much but promised to pay me back. A few months goes by, and being so "understanding" I didn't event mention about the debt. Day by day.. muka dia still happy di FB yet still nothing, nada, nill response psl pitih tu. Well, if kita takde duit, at least, show the curtosy to inform the people you borrowed about your recent financial situation whether you are making effort/no effort to pay it.

Another thing is.. ONLY, ONLY when we can pay our debt, should we make any loans. Taking big risks by making huge amount of loan/debt will sink you even deeper. Kalau ye pun kita nk follow, no pain no gain pnye tagline, pstikan the pain only involves oneself and will not become a burden to others. Especially when the pain involves money; it will surely be a pain in the ass.

ThE VaN

Salam. Last week was the most "relaxed" trip with the college's van. Usually on business trips, (business la sbb menguruskan hal2 kerja) the schedule would be tight, hectic, and will end late.

Maybe due to early departure (mcm la naik belon) at 7.10 a.m., we were able to have our breakfast in Maran (a very2 nice roti canai) accompanied dgn. pisang dari Kg. Ulu Luit Abg Din exam, and arrived in Jengka awal. suka2... Trip ok, dgn driver yg relax dan cool. In the van, I was thinking, there are lots of memories created. Whether it's good or bad, it's bound to melekat dlm our minds and hearts, esp. for those yg no longer serving the same place.

Old pictures.. on the way back, the tyre punctured, and being the "wise" guy, Sani showed us way to the mechanic.. eh bukan way.. WAYS.. pusing and pusing and pusing roundabouts.. but then, aku dgn Ja pun bljr kat sana..ahhaha! I luv this trip anyway..

Trips to Courses/Workshops selalunye agak seronok. Fun as the van will be invaded by friends yg sesama went for bengkel. If it's with the OM group, sure havoc. Great minds think alike kan.. assuming kepala masing2 sume great! hehe. Once, I remembered, the driver was Abg. Amir (no longer working) yg. tpaksa mengikut channel radio permintaan ramai. That time, Akon was dominating the radio station with his 1st hit "Lonely" and that pempuan Indon.. Melly Goeslaw was hitting the radio with " Lelaki Idaman". Pantang lagu2 ni kuar, terus "kuat sikit volume ". There were Mala, McD, Booboo (Anis), Ida, K Ja, K Zak, and me.. conquered by girls. Hm, jgn lupa pitt stop at Burger King otw back is Wajib! esp bila McZue yg in-charge..hehe.

Now, the practise is.. Listening to Klasik F.M... smpai bleh hafal lagu2, example lagu Cincin Emas tuh.. isk2, sob2.. Haduiii

Another trip involved exchanging vehicles and passengers and etc. Otw back dari KL, the van stopped.. I hear the driver was hello, helloing somebody with promises to stop somewhere. Just when we were about to get cozy and sleepy, I heard Ijud's voice.. "Ha, cpt, tukor2, naik van putih tu".. Hampeh.. Pijak kang! Looked like isi perut van yg baru balik workshop, nk kene naik van putih (kenangan btul) yg agak sedih, and those ustazs going to the workshop, hijacked our comfy van. The best thing was.. the vehicle came with a 'long-lasting' car freshener; Keropok Scented. Hmm.. how refreshing it was!

The white van was our "main" vehicle time kat Pekan. When we were organizing a farewell dinner for the staff in Pekan, all the AJKs were compiled (ye, assuming kita sume ni kertas nk masuk dlm file) in that van. Thank God, kurus lagi time tuh. Ahaks.. was it Boy or Abg Rosli driving? hmmm.. I remembered, ramai tul ikut.heheh. Pantas btul pemikiran AJK tertinggi (wink2, K Dib, Wani etc. arh).

Validasi trips were carried out hundreds of time. Above was one of the trip.. agak comfy sbb time ni tak ramai. Plg kesian, was the time Karimi went by van too.. He got a seat yg takleh blah.. kepala terlentok dan tegak, and terkulai and tegak.. where got head rest. Huuu.. After that incident.. he usually follows with his car.. no matter shine or rain, or raining without working wipers. Wasn't it wonderful? trips with the van.. ahhh.

Ouch!

From the 1st till the 3rd of October, some of us (colleagues) went to Suria Beach Resort, Cherating. Bukan utk. bersuka, (sbb. ada duka2 sikit) but to finish what we started bulan-bulan-bulan yang lepas. The plan was, on the 3rd, at lunch.. everything was complete. Semua dh printed out.. just need to bind sahaja.... Itulah maknanye planning.. but.. although being very2 focused that 3 days.. the work was completed after 3/10.. hehe.

this are the tentative for the program: (according to me)

6:30 a.m. Subuh Prayer
8:00 a.m. Turun breakfast carrying laptops, files, papers and papers.. and stationeries
8:30-10:00 a.m. Kerja2 paste and copy template, menterjemah, meng"question" mende2 yg.
telah diterjemah sehinggalah Mr. Pritam ckp "Jgn. lawan boss!"haha, surfing
for info, scolding Urusetia (panggilan mesra utk Mt Yi)
10:00 a.m. Minum pagi (time ni was hoping ada nescafe.. yg akan ada teh dan kopi je)
10:30 a.m. My friend Ma selalunya will email things to the "Homegrown Documentation"
members, K Mas will continuosly shout " U got mail"!, " Area 4,8 @ apa2
nombor dh siap"...bla bla..
12:30 @ waktu

2:00 p.m. Documentation work starts.. this include dialogues such as:

ida(su?): Aku bagi kat ko karang2 boleh tak? aku tgh wat mende lain nih..
Bukan mende tu kene wat sdiri2 ke? Kita kan lain2 program..
Seseorg: (after 2-3 mnit statement tadi kuar) Aku nk tgk je.. masukkan dlm
pendrive aku.. Tpi, ada virus aku tak tau laa.. (ada ke? anak2 buah
su/ida pun membuat muka dlm diam)
ida(su?): Hish.. karang la ye.. ko tunggu..

4:30 p.m. Today got 3 jugs of nescafe.. Perkumpulan kami mengambil air dengan
riaknye.. dan membancuh and sat looking by the beach. We didn't only saw the beach, but we saw cwok and mat yi..jumping around eh bukan..
shouting something.. signing something.. and as always.. we ignore jap.
Kdian.. the signing kept going on, and we saw 2 pigs sebesor kambing
strolling nearby..
4:45 p.m. Men"cuat" lari dari area berdekatan ke meja2 yg lbh jauh. Id, still holding her
cup of nescafe said "aku dahaga".. org lain sume dh terbantut minum.haha!
Work continued
6:00 -7:30 p.m. Kerja2 mencuci badan, prayers, meregangkan otot, dinner..etc
7:30 p.m. Work again.. pertolongan dari 2 tenaga kerja Ma and Fahmi amat dihargai
10:30 p.m. Azie berkunjung ke meja kami.. smbil bersyair ayat2 rencam.. (tak phm)
11:00 p.m. Nk naik bilik.. smbil terpkir2, apa yg perlu dibuat/dismbung bila di bilik..
11:25 p.m. Tak naik bilik lagi..hehe

Well, am jotting some of the things happening during the bengkel. Praise Allah, apa yg nk dihantar already done.. Gementar mendengarkan statement Masrina.." 2nd round akan ada".. gosh!
