Kampit..

Salam.. It's 2:00 p.m. and I was just thinking about ystrday's incident. Yesterday noon, I was on my way back from Pantai Selamat, beli brg. So, near my house compound.. there's a small junction. Lorong kecil bercabang 3. As always, I stopped before coming into the gate.. just like 6-7 metres lagi nk masuk pagar. I looked to the right and then left, making sure that there wasn't any cars or bikes, or budak2 nk lalu.. So, I straight away move towards the gate, when suddenly dah ada keta right in front of me! Astagha.. aku brake, the van(Citroen) brakes.. just
like a few centimetres lagi nk bumped into each other.. Spontaneously, I blurted the word, "Sorry" without looking at the van driver. Then, I proceed masuk gate. Come to think of it, I should'nt even say Sorry in the first place.. It' s not like I'm day dreaming.. I'm damn sure I did'nt.. lagi satu, I looked. Told my sister about the incident.. she said that the neighbour kat ujung2 deret umah tu, always speeding.. Logik gak.. Sbb, takkan la van tu kecik sgt till terlindung oleh rangka keta yg kecik tuh? Although, I am a little bit clumsy.. (yg tu diakui sdiri), I still cautiously melintas. That darn van.. Alhamdulillah., takde pape.. Thank you Allah. Just next time, I have to be careful when driving.. Be aware of the Citroen vans.. I realized there a lot of kampits driving these days..

Ahlan Ya Ramadhan.. Selamat Berpuasa to All.. Hopefully, this time around, kita semua bleh la complete kan ibadah puasa dgn jayanye (jika pnjang umur, bleh smbut raya skali!) Today, just wanted to post some pictures taken kat satu tmpt mkn di ECM yg dicop halal. Akupun insya Allah yakin laa.. ni gmbornye. This drink doesn't live up to it's price pun. Tak sesuai although presentation mcm bagos.

Ni gmbr doktor baru lps operation and kebulur nk ngadap mkn. The bib worn is not suitable for kids.

Ni another Medical Attendant yg. tak telibat dlm operation yg awal2 tadi. She's hungry too. Pilihan menu ialah kuawteaw yg tak meletop seletop abg koboi. That's all for today's report saja2.

Atonement

Just finished watching "Atonement" in the middle of preparing notes for class tomorrow. Decided to buy the dvd in the first place just because of James McAvoy in it. That guy from Angelina Jolie's Wanted, Mr. Tumnus in Narnia to name a few movies. Those who wanted to watch this period piece must be able to invest concentration as it has a slow start. With British accent from the beginning till the end, subtitles helped. I can't help it but to be hopelessly romantic at times. This one takde happy ending.. both actors died. Aku tak kirala apa org ckp, but I like this one.

New Place

Promised to put up something last week. Due to certain circumstances, tak jadi. Well, that new place is a tempat makan. Situated in buildings in front of Hotel Champagne. Once I got my pay, I felt like going to this new place. It is'nt new pun, but I've never been there. So, went there with my companion dgn. penuh curiousity. The place sounded french, not that we went there to eat anything French. Nk mkn fish and chips je.. Excuse je nk p sana. In we went, and the ambience was so... dim. Mandom je. Silap2 can sleep one! Nothing to brag abt. this place (for me la). Siap ada sudu garfu kayu kat dinding. Mcm umah dulu2.

Maybe this place was meant for couples who wants romantic surrounding.. deco tak romantic. The lights were! Not many customers, but it took quite some time to get our food. Bukak menu, err... mybe we need time to think what we want..(depending on our pockets). Babyface's songs fills the air.. tapi.. kdg2 jadi rap remix sbb cd sangkut. Ceh. The picture shows my companion yg. ala2 tgh pikir.. di manakah aku? M'sia? atau M'sia? See the flag?

I saw escargot in the menu.. Huh? Siput pun ada? Ada mmber sorang yg dah pernah "ter"mkn escargot ni said that it tasted like chicken.. After dia tau wht it was.. trus "Yuck!" Bila dah waiting forever to get orders, might as well penuhkan perut with air. Lepas segelas, segelas air dia tambah. Macam bagus je gambar aku nih. Hihih. Kami menampilkan table manner yg tak bagus. Selain tangan atas meja.. beg bunjut pun ada atas meja.
Once we get the order, trus je bedal. Salad as appetizer (nothing to brag abt the salad too) and later.. ikan. Minum air pun posed. Apakah? Hehe..

Yg tak best here was, we had to go correct the bill twice! Maybe the waiter was sleepy.. Which I did asked him, but he denied. Dia tak ngantuk.. dia kata. It can be concluded, the place tak suit la for couples. It can simply turn a romantic mood to very badd ones. You know, hungry people are angry people.:-(

Dah Hilang..

Passed by same CKT (CharKuayTeaw) spot a few days already. Nada.. Nil, none.. takdepun van apa2 there. Van abg Koboi takdak, neither rojak stall dll. Where did they all went? Well, at least tak kempunan nk merasa CKT there. Next post: Mkn kt tmpt bru

Terlanjur mai ke opis teman mmber, aku saja je update sumthing here. FYI, I've found that kueay teaw yg agak meletup.. kind of hangit, but does'nt spoil the taste, not watery, just nice.. suits my taste. The location is the one in front of Bank Rakyat bandar (Bank paling sinonim dgn kita!!!) Ida found it after scanning all the "brothers" there.. "Wa, ha, tu abg pkai topi koboi. Thank god kami tak terbalik gelak guling2 (apa yg funny ngat ntah..) Happy sgt kot, sbb berjumpa. haha.. Like what Mak Kintan said.. tht one is good.. I agree with her. But next time, if I go, kene gtau, buh toge lebih sket..

The picture posted here tidak bertujuan apa2 pun. It's just one of the occassion of trying something I have'nt tasted for so long. Coffee bean. Went to KL like 2 months ago, and my sis wanted to try drinks there. How now lepaking has changed. People all around with their notebooks (laptop dah obsolete kott), telephones or was it Blackberry or E7 something2.. staying connected while lounging. Kami bertiga, including my 2pupu/kepupu just sat there, sharing 2 drinks yg tajuknye I've forgotten. Drinks in the pic tak sdp.. My sis pnye was yummy.. RIch with caffeine. Talking about caffeine.. I think I better get some la. Ciao.

Kuay Teaw Goreng & Dexter

Think that me and e-id have this hankering for char kuay teaw yg sdp for a few days already. But we really don't know where to get that yummy ones that'll satisfy us. I've tried a few already but couldn't find the one with my required criterias: Tak basah sgt., not too dry, a little hangus but not hangit (huh?), with eggs and taugeh... Sdpnye. I've been introduced to the stall kat IM2, but the kuay teaw is just so-so. A little bit hot for me and should've passed as kuay teaw basah je. Mak Kintan told me to look for abang bertopi koboi dkt Masjid Besar. Yesterday lalu, lupa nak cari koboi dan kudanya tu.. To stop my cravings, yesterday went to the kedai runcit nearby and bought stuff to make my own kuay teaw. I'm no expert in making this dish, but mine will do ajelah. For RM3.50 (it's important that I get the price right, I only have RM10 kat tgn.. seriously!) I get 2 packs of kuay teaw, some prawns and taugeh-essential nih! So, everybody ate without complaining.

Went out after Maghrib, and when I got back, guess what? Hungry again. So, balance petang, gue makan. Semangat berkobar-kobar gak, to watch Dexter, a tv series that I'll wait if I'm not that sleepy. The opening for this cerita is interesting. Starts at 12 (bagusnye org RTM timing citer yg seronok kan?) Unfortunately, tunggu pnye tunggu Eli Stone yg kuar. What?? Ni geram nih.. Just remembered, the previous episode mcm ala2 ending dah.. patut laa. Decided to sleep after watching Eli Stone for 20 minutes.. Bye Dexter, lelaki keji penegak keadilan..More like a psycho I think. Yaawwnnnn...
